Clareto Announces New HIE Partner

Our newest health data partner

We’re excited to announce a recent agreement to add a regional health information exchange (HIE) in the Northeast to our EHR+ network. Participating healthcare organizations include hospitals and health systems, primary care and specialty physician practices, post-acute care facilities, and more.

Like our other HIE partners, this HIE will support a frictionless client experience and near-instant record retrieval with a targeted go-live date in late Q4 2024.

Why it matters

We published a recent article on the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) and its Data Aggregator Validation (DAV) program, which evaluates HIEs and other organizations on the basis of their management and exchange of clinical data from ingestion at primary sources, through aggregation and transformation, to transmission to end users. Today, the DAV program is an indicator of data quality that gives health plans, government entities, and care delivery organizations confidence in the validity of aggregated clinical data used to supplement HEDIS reporting, value-based contracting, gaps in care closure, risk adjustment, population health management, and other healthcare quality initiatives. Our new HIE partner is DAV-certified, and we anticipate that its addition to our EHR+ network will increase the share of HIEs offering validated data streams to ~60% of our total HIE coverage.
