Clareto Announces New HIE Partner
Our newest health data partner
We’re excited to announce a recent agreement to add a statewide health information exchange (HIE) in the Northeast to our EHR+ network. Participating healthcare organizations include hospitals and health systems, primary care and specialty physician practices, post-acute care providers, and more.
The HIE plans to utilize one of our standard implementation models with a targeted go-live date in Q4 2023.
Why it matters
This new partnership advances our leadership position in HIE connectivity, where we are consistently first-to-market and maintain the most connections dedicated to life insurance use cases. In addition, this is the second HIE partnership that we’ve announced in as many months — the other being a regional HIE in the South.
Combined, we expect these HIEs to add nearly 5 million lives to the EHR+ network. We also estimate that these HIEs will have <30% overlap with the EHR+ network, as a significant majority of their participating providers are not available via our existing EHR connections. As a result, these HIEs will be meaningful sources of net-new coverage for our clients, providing digital health data not available elsewhere.
