Clareto Announces New HIE Partner
Our newest health data partner
We’re excited to announce a recent agreement to add a large health information exchange (HIE) in the South to our EHR+ network. Participating healthcare organizations include hospitals and health systems, surgical and imaging centers, emergency and urgent care facilities, primary care and specialty physician practices, and more. Based on our preliminary coverage modeling, we estimate that this HIE has the potential to be one of the three largest HIEs among the 20+ HIEs in the EHR+ network.
The HIE will utilize one of our standard implementation models, enabling frictionless, near-instant record retrieval with a targeted go-live date in mid-Q1 2024.
Why it matters
HIEs represent important primary and secondary sources of digital health data within our EHR+ network. At this time, we expect ~25% overlap between our new HIE partner and our existing EHR connections. As a result, this HIE will be a meaningful source of net-new coverage for our clients, providing digital health data not available elsewhere. Where overlaps do exist, we anticipate that this HIE will offer higher fulfillment rates and/or faster turnaround times on a significant percentage of cases.
